| To say the least, a day of fun filled adventure. 1st the camera crew from
Irish Rose Films was on hand filming us for their upcoming female dj documentary.
Thanks for coming out gang! 2nd We had a great show but hmmmmm, the lights
weren’t working so the 4 elements acts were difficult to see. Steve the
lighting tech was so sweet though- he had to do light and sound that night.
3rd Umm, yeah, uhh, no sound in the middle of my 3rd to last song? “Holy
Shit” I thought to myself, “Did I do that? The levels were only one red?”
This was supposedly the first time this has ever happened and me being the
DJ was feeling responsible. They couldn’t figure it out and had to shut
down the main room at 1015 . BUMMER. I lost sleep for 2 days thinking it
was me until Monday morning when I found out that the DJ after me (according
to Steve the light/sound guy) accidentally set something down in the main
DJ booth and inadvertently turned off a switch that controlled the main
sound. Ooopsy. I am just sincerely thankful that I didn’t blow up 1015’s
massive sound system ;-))))))))))))))))))
